As many of you know, the Women’s Museum of California has been a part of the San Diego community for almost 30 years. We have reached out by exhibiting local female artists, giving educational lectures, and sponsoring multiple community events. Over the past three decades, we have been on the move not just in our community outreach, but with our diverse exhibits. We’ve grown so much that we are busting through our seams, or rather, through our brick n mortar.
So what does that mean? That’s right; the Women’s Museum of California is on the move again – literally! This summer the WMC will be calling a new place home. For now, the details of where, are being kept under wraps. Think of it as a kind of Christmas in July. Who can resist a holiday gift six months early? Therefore, fellow members and friends of the WMC, there is short precious time to come visit us at our original location! Come be a part of the before and after! Indulge in the nostalgia of our humble roots before embarking on the journey with us to our new and bigger location.
Want to do more than visit? Come be a part of the history by becoming a volunteer.
